I had some left over ammo loaded 66.4gr H4831SC (fire-forming).

#174 is unfired Lapua case.
Usually if you analyze brass after first firing that number will be smaller.

You're correct sir, I finally got around to fireforming the new Lapua 300wsm brass
I got #172 after one firing......it hurt burning that one case

Sure worked this past weekend I shot a 4.9 with a 97 score! In light Gun At Williamsport. Fire formed in the shoot off but no cigar.

N565, 16.11.2023 lot (slower lot than one I used before)
Lapua fireforming
220gr Berger
31" barrel
Target at 900 yards

Very good case fill with N565
