Lapua 300 WSM brass

Lapua 300 wsm brass, are the primer pockets holding up, how many firings are you getting.
Tried some for the first time last weekend - Moderate charge of 64.1gr of ADI 2213sc (H4831sc) pushing Berger 220's. Velocity averaged around 2820fps in the Australian summer. Compared to ADG brass, the Lapua is 1 thou thinner in the neck, although it comes in around 15gr heavier, at 245gr compared to ADG at 230gr. The Lapua is a LOT fatter at the .200 line, coming in roughly 3 thou broader.

In my chamber at least, this made extraction a little sticky, almost bordering on clickers after the first firing. I would need to have the back of my chamber polished out to avoid this, or consider a custom reamer for the Lapua brass. I will say, the spent primers took a lot more effort to pop out with my Harvey hand deprimer compared to the ADG brass after one firing...So I suspect Lapua have crammed a bit more material into the case head to keep primer pockets tight.

Looks like a good result. I like N555 in 260 Remington. You've got some proper weather there, good job you have a covered firing point. We're at a similar latitude but the Gulf Stream keeps the weather wet and grey here!
