Lapua 300 WSM brass

My last "box" of Lapua 300 norma mag. brass came in the cardboard box also.
Is Lapua slowly getting away from the plastic blue boxes?

Weighing brass is my starting point. Sample size of each single lot was 50 pieces. I was limited to 50 because I only have 1 box of ADG. After reviewing this I may be purchasing more ADG but their neck thickness was all over the place with a thick average. Having a tight neck chamber, I am going to stick with my LAPUA on the new barrel since it offers the best neck thickness fit for my plans. Im not a fan of neck turning.

Id be very surprised if the primer pockets hold up as good as ADG. 6.5 prc and 300 prc lapua brass was nowhere near as tough as ADG primer pockets.
That has not been my experience with 6.5 PRC. The Lapua brass has held up better for me and the neck thickness is more consistent. The ADG 6.5 PRC I've had has been medicore at best.

I took both brands of brass and necked them up to 7mm. I then took a very mild load of h4350, 52.5 gr and a 180 berger, and fired it 10 times in each piece of brass. The primers popped out of the lapua brass with almost no effort at 10 firings. The adg I could not come close to popping out by hand with a wilson decapping pin. Just my expirience with it. Same with 300 prc brass.

I haven't necked mine up, but primer pockets were gone at seven firings in the ADG, Lapua going strong past 10.
