On an aside regarding positioning, I just got the JKL kinetic/inertial trigger and it’s amazing. No more lost shots. No more worrying about lining up correctly. I can now have my unit behind the muzzle a little or have it left or right without worrying about exactly alignment or worrying about people next to you causing a false reading. You can see it on the left side of my gun attached with Velcro. I actually sold my first Labrador because of frustration but decided to give it another try and am now happy.

Thats a baffle. They're awful. It magnifies the muzzle blast back at you!

Yep I shoot at a massive 6,000 member ranger complex. 100yd black powder, 50/100yd general purpose, 200/300yd rifle range, 600yd range, trap, skeet, sporting clays, action ranges, indoor .22, 50yd pistol, multiple discovered pistol bays, archery range and more. Most ranges are lit and covered and most have those baffles. Keeps bullets from going off property into the countless houses and businesses that have now surrounded our little piece of heaven in the middle of a huge city. While the baffles have the downsides, they do help ensure the range will be there long after stupidity ensues...
