Did not get an elk this week but did run across 60+ turkeys. I have never seen this many all in one area. Saw them every day we went back into a certain area

Great year for me. A whitetail buck, three antelope, and these two elk. The bull was a 52-yard archery kill in Sept. The cow was a 654 yd shot from my 300 RUM two days ago...

Opening weekend here in WI, shot this 2 year old buck with an original late 1800’s era English muzzleloader double rifle…. Frontal shot at about 70 yards. .76 caliber, 700gr ball did the trick!

We had a pretty exceptional opener this year with 6 guys participating.
