They really dropped a bomb on us this will really hurt the small gun smiths but it's going to hurt every one of us if you can't get work done then what is the sense of buying barrels etc. unless you have the knowledge to do it yourself. What will they do next dry up ammo and reloading components. Save all your bullet casting and black powder guns cause one can still make black powder. And for those who vote for Clinton do you think this will stop here when they get rid of our right to have guns they will look for some other things you like to get rid of or control.

I called my 2 Congressmen today. Both are very pro gun. Neither staffer I talked with had recieved any calls about this yet. So apparenty we aren't making enough noise. If we're going to get through this we all need to get with it. Tell you family, friends and clients they all need to call!

I called Brownell's today and talked to one person and left a message for another. If 80% of the small gunsmiths go out of business it will hurt so many other businesses. Make them aware of what's happening. Call your barrel manfuctures, stock, trigger and action manufactures. Who's going to put their parts together?
If we can't get this changed we're in for a rude awakening in many ways.
There has never been a need for conservatives to unite together for an election in so many ways EVER in the history of this country. You may love or hate Trump but it's come down to anyone but Hillary. For many of us it take's holding your nose but we have to unite and do it. DON'T let Hillary get elected. Correct but that was for a class 7 or 9 Then somehow the attached it to all gun work. When the the call was made to the ATF the agent told us it went into effect the 27 of last month but went back to the time it was made.

Exactly Right! They went after the bullet makers years ago! They get a check from me each year for the privilege of being "registered" with the state department!

My local smith who is excellent basically had no idea of this until i emailed him the other day. He had been on vacation and he called me this morning. He said he would be getting out of it instead of paying the fiat (by decree) currency to remain in business. This whole scenario smacks of out and out unconstitutional Bolshevik communism! Maybe time for letters but does it do any good any longer?

Smoking bans, like them or not, set a very bad precedent for how to rid the country of virtually anything a loud enough voice or the gov't wants to. Research it thoroughly...after calling your reps and senators about this!
I don't think Congress or senators had anything to do with this like they did with seat belts .

I called my congressman and senior senator today. They took time to listen and both said they'd take a look at it Both excepted my offer to e-mail the 'decree' to them along with ATFE rulings so they can compare ,,,, save 'um some time researching.. Both staffers said "this is the first I've heard of this!". Is everyone just 'blowin' and goin' or serious about raising some he!! about this? They don't know what your thinkin' if you don't tell 'um! Speak-up and maybe do something about it, or stay silent and except what comes..........
I agree, could be a massive run on everything firearm's related especially if the witch navigates her broom thru the Diebold machines come November.
