Is a Federal License required to work on guns?

if you get involved in a lawsuit even if you WIN you still LOSE.I got hit several years ago in Florida, for a bluing job on a shotgun barrel only, person took it home and done something STUPID
had to blame someone else, myself, mossberg, and brownells. My INS. cancelled, money out of pocket to a lawyer, and you can't countersue because they don't have anything.
the guy lived a mile and I knew him,so much for friends.sold my complete system and moved to Texas.urinate on them!!

That is unfortunate and I'm sorry to hear it because forcing all gun repair into the system is only good for the lawyers and the bureaucrats. I'll work on my own and my wife's, but nobody else's. Too risky.

I'd love to see a law passed requiring individuals to have to pay their own taxes. It's a very different feeling writing the irs a check vs having it pulled out before you get your paycheck. They have us so trained we get excited for our tax returns. They steal a little too much and we think it's a bonus when they give it back lol.
