Ingenuity Precision Trickler - N150/Binding

Hey Guys,

I purchased an IP trickler for my AT V3 whenever they launched last year, and I've been happy with it for the most part, except I can't seem to get it to throw N150 very well at all. I'm using the correct disk (567), and to my knowledge have it setup correctly (it works very well with Varget or H4350), but I get binding, jamming, and overthrows constantly with N150.

I've moved the slider on the FX120i all the way to the slowest end, and I've experimented with various fill amounts for the trickler cup to no avail.

Has anyone run into this before? If so, any tweaks or tips you can provide to stop the trickler from jamming up?

I don’t know how that trickler works, but N-150 has been the most bridging powder I’ve ever used. I’ve been shooting it longer than most. Back before Adam made the powder throw for the auto trickler I used a Harrells Culver and it used to bridge all the time in the throw, and before I replaced the 21st century funnel/tube with an Area 419 it used to cause more than a few headaches bridging in the tube.

I had the same issue with Retumbo and the recommended 7545 disk. I switched to the 508 disc and that solved the problem. If you have extra discs I would try them to see if one works better.

I had that problem with a powder, I forget which one. The tube that goes on top of the powder disc has a step on it. With the step toward the powder it jambed. Away from it worked great.

Same issue for me too. Yeah I've got the spring over the ball. That didn't help. I've tried different plates, that didn't help. It doesn't happen all the time, but enough to be annoying. I'll try Walt's method and see if it helps.

Yep. It'll get 2 kernels caught within the disk/drop tube area. All you have to do to correct it is to grab the center nut and twist backwards against the motor.
That's what I do. I used a magic marker and put some dots on the wheel so I can see when it happens. Just a little annoying is all.
