Imperial sizing wax? good or not?

Petroleum is "natural", it's just dead organisms. "Natural" is one of the most misused terms in common usage. Petroleum is a naturally occurring liquid found in geological formations when large quantities of dead organisms, usually zooplankton and algae, are buried underneath sedimentary rock and subjected to intense heat and pressure. What's "unnatural" about it?

I think the implied context is you wouldn't want to add the all natural unsaturated benzo-rings as a salad dressing. Plus with my luck the required distal level probably requires Saudi oil like diesel gas. That said, 10 cans of imperial will probably last me the remainder of my life.

Ok, fair enough. So the implication of allegedly "natural" Royal lube is it would be safe to eat?

It's all too easy to slap "natural" on a product when you don't have to reveal the ingredients, or justify that appellation.

Dont get it on the neck only the body

Dusty,
I have been using a small amount of Imperial sizing wax on my case necks for quite some time and am curious to why you recommend not getting it on the neck.

It dents the shoulders along with not sizing necks and pushing shoulders back consistently. It is a hydraulic force thing up between the neck and shouler/body junction. If youd like to test find you a shoulder datum measuring tool then apply different amounts of lube starting with a swabbed out die. You can vary shoulder setback .003 in one whack.

I use a small amount on the neck and have never dented a shoulder. If I don't my Titanium Nitride Coated bushings will scratch my brass. I do agree that either an excessive about of lube on the case neck and/or a build up of lube in the die can and will effect shoulder bump.
