Try it. Crisco stick, not bacon grease. Natural, non-toxic, cheap. I got the idea from a Vietnam special forces veteran, if that makes it more palatable, or even more tactical. We were eating breakfast after a rifle match, and he mentioned that. Everybody else laughed. I tried it. He is sort of "out of the box." I have been using a small amount of Imperial sizing wax on my case necks for quite some time and am curious to why you recommend not getting it on the neck.
