I'm changing directions.

Cronyd N140 this weekend, speed was a bit up but it was EXTREMELY warm but 32.3gr gave 2994, 2996, 2994, 2996 and 2994 fps over a Magneto

It sounds nice to have warm weather this time of year.

It looks like N140 in a dasher is giving comparable speeds to varget at the same charge weight? I typically see 32.2-32.6 varget @ 2930-2960 with a 26" barrel

Although I am still going to change directions, I shot my 6BRA at the 600 yard match today. Our match consists of four, 5-shot targets for score only. I simply could not find the center but all four groups were acceptable. They measured 1.882", 1.953, 2.413, and 2.745. Today was cold with bright sun and heavy mirage. The wind increased throughout the morning (from 2-3MPH to 6-8 MPH). My equipment was as follows: BAT/Lederer/Valdada 36X/Leonard. My load was 30.4 8208 XBR/CCI 400/ Bart 105 Hammers...seated to jump .005". Now if I could just learn to read the wind better. My scores were okay except for one train wreck that still puzzles me. The scores were... 48-1X; 46; ##33; and 48-1x. The 33 score was about 1 MOA right and was my smallest group (1.882). I will try my new Dasher next month.
So, did you change to the Dasher. What did you learn?

I just received from Billy Stevens my barrel chambered in 6mm Dasher. it is a Brux 7.83 twist/4-groove. I plan to shoot 1,clean for 4 shots, then 3-shots, clean for 2 cycles. Then I will try to tune with Re 15 and I have several bullets to try. I will try the method used by several short range shooters to find ideal seating depth. This method involves using two or three charges (from mild to hot) and several seating depths. When a seating depth will shoot in the same relative position on the target with all charges, one has found the ideal seating depth.
Good ole Billy,he's the man
