Well, I didn’t think so but thought maybe Chuck bent you arm or something.Lol Hell No.....Ill leave that sporter stuff up to the professionals! I can shoot Sunday...thats it
Depends on your game. Ammo is a BIG part of the equation. Most of shooting at 100 is how well the monkey behind butt plate can read the wind, break the trigger, and hold the rifle. There is something to be said for better ammo but not a lot.
Cliff is a friend of mine and as far as i know a vudoo isnt in his massive collection, knowing him i wouldnt be surprised if he got one, but generally he shoots a 2500x, turbo, or a swindlehurst.Apparently you don't know Cliff Arnold finished 7th at the ARA Nationals this month shooting -----wait --for --it a Vudoo!
yea, yea, yea, one tournament doesn't mean much, but who knows what the future holds.
and who knows what Cliff has done to that Vudoo???
I always remember anything can and will happen in rimfire.

Buy an Anchutz benchrest 22. They will shoot 1/2MOA all day long. My less expensive repeater will shoot 1MOA or less at 200 yards. Great equipment. If money wasn’t an object for a build what action/stock/barrel/Gunsmith for .22 rimfire 100 yard bench rest shooting. I use a Neo front rest and Lenzi rear.
Thanks,
Mitch
You need to call him. He was definitely shooting a Vudoo V22S action. When I talked to him at nationals he said he built it and did the work on it, but the equipment list show's Penrod as the gunsmith so not sure on that.Cliff is a friend of mine and as far as i know a vudoo isnt in his massive collection, knowing him i wouldnt be surprised if he got one, but generally he shoots a 2500x, turbo, or a swindlehurst.
Stiller 2500, Shilen Ratchet, Jewel trigger, stock and bedding by Alex Sitman. Metalwork I would have to think about…would probably be either Pitts, Pernod or Nevius (in no order). SEB Max front rest.
Unfortunately there are no .22 rimfire 100 yard bench rest matches near me, but last year we started shooting 50 yard rimfire bench rest club matches that are a variation of VFS with a Top Shot or KYL component. Classes include iron sights, sporter, semi-automatic, and target. If money wasn’t an object for a build what action/stock/barrel/Gunsmith for .22 rimfire 100 yard bench rest shooting. I use a Neo front rest and Lenzi rear.

I’d go with something in the 120-150 foot range. You need the extra space for the cook, masseuse and a couple bikini girls.I’d probably go with a Viking 61 Convertible.
