I have a confession to make

About 10 years ago I was on a really good paying pipeline project in Wyoming. The TSRA State Championships were getting ready to start. Quit the job to come back to Texas to shoot. Had been there for 3 months. Got home on a Wednesday spent the night with my wife then loaded my gear the next morning. I will never forget the "Where the f---- are you going?". State Championships I reply. Be back Monday morning. To which said wife replied "There is something seriously wrong with you." Kissed her on the cheek and said "I know." While trying unsuccessfully to suppress a grin.

I still miss some of those guns.
 
About two weeks after the marriage the wife says, "Honey, I think you need to sell those guns and your boat and the hotrod Camaro so you can spend more time with me" I replied, "you're starting to sound like my ex-wife".....EX WIFE....YOU *&#** BASTARD YOU DIDN'T TELL ME YOU WERE MARRIED...I said," I wasn't." Just a joke as actually my late wife never once complained about the amount of time or money I spent on my hobby.

You gotta keep those gays happy, cus up here in Canada, your wife or even your ex wife have to be notified and agree to your gun renewal license, or even to apply for it in the beginning. Your PAL. Possession and Acquisition Licensce. You may have a tough time renewing it every 5 years if they balk at all. You have it much easier than we do. So keep em happy.
 
My ex-wife told all her friends how proud she was I had a life hobby. This seemed to happen only when I was in company of the conversation. I would work long days into the night sometimes a 20 hour day. I worked hard for 26 years only to find out in the end she hatted my hobby somewhat. She claimed I liked working all those hours at Kodak to get away from her when in reality I couldnt wait to get home to her. So after 26 1/2 years we had a dinner party and she screamed I want a divorce so she got her wish and my girlfreind doesnt mind one bit what I do and she never complains. I am lucky that I met her some 41 years ago. I still love my hobby and now I have someone I can trust and she thinks it is cool that I love shooting and reloading. Moral is : Get a new wife if she really hates what you do because in some cases you cant please everyone so you got to please yourself sometime in our lifetime. I know many on here have wonderful wives but the ones who hate their hobby watchout,LOL
