Me either, if you have been out of work I can see this "may" provide a little relief, BUT if you've been out of work for 9 months $600 is a slap in the face. $600 / by 9 months=270 days = $2.22 a day. Little more that a cup of coffee at McDonalds and they continue to fund "arts centers" and foreign countries, SMH

I thought seriously about this since I remarked.
I think I will use for a new A.C. unit if the spring gets here. The old one is 26 years old and aside from the cost of running it, it hasn't cost me a dime but it is time.

Hmmmm... I was thinking more silver, but now I'm thinking of giving it to a local guy to replace the fender on my Jeep. His shop just burned down, but I think he's still doing work somewhere.

That fender went towards the only deer I killed this year. jd

I got a deer back in 90 with a Harley (that hurt). Didn't get any stimulus back then unless you were going to an "adult store" and then it wasn't for you. ;-)

I'm going to use it to pay part of my quarterly self employment tax. That is if I get the stimulus in time, otherwise, I pay the tax all by myself.

I've got a garage kept '04 Ranger Supercab 4WD with 110k and wife has an 09' Outback with 185k. Plan to keep them til they die.

If we could go to restaurants, we'd be supporting them but our "smart" governor has shut them all down except those with outdoor seating or take out.

Done it since we got it in 2011. Delayed gratification. We owe for nothing but our new house and not a whole lot on it.

The first $600 went to our local food bank. The next $600 we'll spread around to servers in the few restaurants we visit.

Irresponsibly. That's how it got to me in the first place. Seems like a bad idea to change how the money gets handled right after it's been accustomed to it.
