I had to take a return to best buy yesterday and it seems they are going to be doing well getting a lot of stimulus.
How’s everybody planning to spend their stimulus check?

Well I'm PLANNING ON HAVING TWICE AS MUCH FUN WITH MY STIMULUS CHECK.
#1 DEPOSIT THE CHECK IN SAVINGS.
#2 spend IT ON ASSORTED GUN STUFF and TAKE THE MONEY OUT OF SAVINGS then pay for the stuff I bought ,THIS SO I DON'T GO IN DEBT.
go Figure, but I THINK i HAVE MY BASES COVERED ?
ALL ON GUN RELATED STUFF.

I haven't received the latest check, but 5 days ago I sent $600.00 to my nephew and his wife. She gave birth to two twin boys, Oliver and Theodore, in the midst of the first phase COVID crisis. There was a serious health issue during the pregnancy so the boys were delivered 2.5 months premature. At birth, boys weighed just 3.5 pounds each! Many weeks in special care at the hospital. But the twins are both now healthy and happy! Prayers answered... a blessing...

I've been waiting for someone to "splain" to me - the term Stimulus Check.
The news tells me about checks or direct deposit money randomly being given to folks.
Folks are all so excited about their .gov money
In my dotage, I do remember many years ago when GW gave me back another $600 of my money that the gov conficated from the pay check I earned..
I bought a nice Trapdoor and, had enough left over for the proper bullet mould.
These days, not so much.

Well, I am fortunate in that I don’t have to worry about getting a stimulus check.
I’m so glad they were born healthy that is a terrible risk I’m glad everything turned out well
Good news boss...
That money (and the other trillions), ultimately, will not be paid back.
I agree, however this is a fantastic opportunity for the government to tax the piss out of us under the guise of paying it back, or the economy, or for the children, pick your flavor,
England / EU levels of taxation in, 5, 4, 3, 2, ......
