How to remove sizing wax

I do the unthinkable!, i tumble (Always my last step) especially if ive annealed my brass.
I will deprime, fullsize, clean primer pocket then tumble. All case work done, anneal if i need to then tumble to clean and polish cases ( not to the point of glossing) i control what my brass looks likes. not flat and burt, not to shinny..but very pretty. You know what its supposed to look like.
I will put on some latex gloves in the garage put a blow gun in my compressor hose and blow out each case through the primer hole.
One,by one. 223 rem is the absolute worst!..those primer holes fit a grain of media perfectly, and case waxs like to cake under the shoulder, cleaning medicine will stick to it., then cover with dust so you cant see it. Oh but its there..youll get a nice Crrrack!..instead of a Bag on the firing line.
. Got to inspect those cases closely. And clean the shit out.
I use a bent papper clip to pop out clogged primer holes and just blow out the brass.
before loading and during priming i will grab a fist full of q-tips and my little flashlight.
When my brass is in the reloading block i will one, by one wipe the under side of the shoulder and inside case neck with a bent q-tip. You would be amazed what comes out of your so called clean cases..hahaha..when all 50 cases in the reloading block are internally wiped i inspect cases with flash light and inspect case necks when thay are clean and i can actually see something..
If everything looks good ..then they get primers and so on.
I have ultra sonic cleaned, i have wet tumbled..
I like corncob media for cleaning, and walnut media for polishing the best.
I also add a little this and that if needed to boost cleaning or polishing ..ive used this method, methodically for many years.
It has also taken me years to develop this method. I have obviously glossed over my process but i did highlight the amount of hands on i have when reloading..im all over my brass..inside and out, top to bottom. If it looks goofy, or is a trouble maker it get tossed in the trass..
Thats a little of what i do to keep case lube and crap out of my case necks..
You want them clean of debris and crud, but not cleaned to the point you removed the natural graphite look from the inside of a case neck.
Its sounds like a lot because guess what!..it is a lot. But when im reloading the damn world can wait until im finished.

It is possible to over clean your brass.
Break cleaner will strip it completely, annealing, and sonic cleaning.also The sonic cleaner can actually pull the copper out of your brass and will deposit it on the outsode of cases like rust if ran to long and really mess things up. It makes cases rough and sticky.
You can tumble and polish out the roughness, but you cant tumble copper back into your brass..hahaha
You can also over polish brass so it glazzes over and will not stick to chamber, but back up against boltface upon firing. Causing case strech. heavy bolt lift, and high pressure signs when you dont have high pressure..just over polish brass.
Ive experienced all of this. And have learned to correct even my case cleaning process from the folks here. What works, what doesnt, what is to much, what is not enough.
like anything in reloading. You could leave the cases dirty and just reload , or make your reloading process an elegant dance of perfection.
I like to strive for the unobtainable. Make each case perfect one after the other, after the other..
the treatment one case gets...they all get..thats the catch..
