How to fix this 700 extraction/ejection

Actually when installing my new extractor I was using a slave pin but somehow when tapping in the real roll pin, the slave popped out before the roll pin was in enough and my ejector and spring did an impersonation of a SpaceX launch. Recovery was successful though.

Yup. I've done the plastic bag before. I actually have a little gizmo I made years ago to hold AR15 ejectors while driving the pin. It would work here too but the problem here was that the gizmo holds the ejector flush, and this one needed to be held below flush in order to insert the slave pin. I thought, I can do this...no problem. Second attempt, I had the wife hold pressure on the slave pin with another punch so it couldn't pop out on it's own and also hold her thumb over the ejector to prevent another launch.
