Savage PTA ejection/extraction problem

In response the OP. Most likely the ejector claw needs sharpening and also the jector plunger is not long enough. Those are the two things I always adress and I have had 100% success so far.

OEM is 1/8", or 0.125.

Go to the local hardware or big box store, and get a 9/64" ball (0.1406"). Problem solved.

That kit has the newer cast claws. they are quite good.
