.473 bolt face extraction question???

I have a .220 swift in a Cooper m22 action.

I would like to rebarrel this into a .20PPC.

I have heard that a Remmy 700 (308 bolt face) with a Sako extractor will extract the PPC cases without any problems.

Since Cooper uese a "Sako style extractor" do you think it could be made to work with the PPC case???????

Anyone done this?????

I used a .473 BF Rem action, for 2 years, shooting a 6PPC in the IBS Varmint Hunter class. I never once had an extraction problem. If you want to have a Sako type installed, you can but it really isn't required.

Just set the extractor in a little deeper and you'll be OK, as long as it grabs the rim it will be fine..
