What’s your opinion to this placement? Will it hold fine or cause issues down the road? I doubt I’ll use a sling much, but like this particular gun… does it kill long term value? It’s a shotgun not a rifle

You've never needed your hands free while upland hunting? I understand wanting to have the gun at ready, but not all terrain is worth it.It's too close; my opinion. Can't figure out why anyone would want a sling on an upland gun.
I've been putting slings on my shotguns for a long time now. Upland, waterfowl, predator calling, whatever you're doing with a scatter gun, a sling can be handy. If ya don't like shooting with it, roll it up and stick it in a pocket or game bag. It's too close; my opinion. Can't figure out why anyone would want a sling on an upland gun.

I think it looks absolutely fine. I see no issue with it at all. Sharp lookin hunting stock too. What’s your opinion to this placement? Will it hold fine or cause issues down the road?
