Hornady Lock-N-Load Classic Reloading Kit... is it good?

K0na_stinky,
The reloading kit you bought was my second pick @ cabelas. I bought the redding
T-7 turret press but it was a tough decision as the lyman is top notch. I am sure you will be happy with it :) Let me know how you like it and the vortex as well.

The owner of the gun shop I buy things from likes the Lymans and I think the kit is the best deal out of the bunch. I payed $475 CAD.

First inpressions of the scope are pretty good. Its pretty clear for a $240 scope. Its not as clear as my Vortex Viper 3-9 tho. Every thing works nice, focus's like it should. Comes with a sun shade. One turn off is that the lens covers dont strech out long enough to go over the sun shade. The turrets are big and easy to read. They click fairly solid but not as solid as the viper. Tonight I’m going to put it on my 270 and give it a try some time this weekend.

Well more damage has been done to the bank account. Just ordered a Chrony F-1 chronograph and a Bushnell sport 600 Laser range finder.

Now once I find a good load I can start backing up alittle further then 100 yards. ;D

Attaboy, I keep the big brown truck busy myself, just delivered my midway order today :)
Sinclair order ought to be here tomorrow ;D

Oh,and by the way let me know how your lyman powder dispenser works
I mean how accurate and how consistant? I am interested in one if they work as good as they claim.

Ok will do, I think im going to just set it alittle under the amount I need and use the scale to weight it and add how ever much I need for loading each shell.

Well I got out to try the vortex. Its pretty half decent. I really can't complain for the price. Its more then clear enough to know what your looking at. Even out to 500 or so yards. Its not crazy heavy either. So far so good once I try shooting further I will find out how it tracks.

Get the hornady kit at natchez shooters supply or any other kit you are interested in from them. They have the best prices around hands down.
