H&R M12 stock configuration

I have a new to me M12. Will be using it in 100 yard score shooting. Have to use 2 piece rest. I will be using a protektor eared bag for the rear. And a rock front rest/medium slick bag up front. Do I need to modify the stock behind the grip to be parallel to the bore? Currently I see a vertical(up) movement of the rifle during the shot, I believe it is due to the angle in the factory stock. Is there something I can attach to the stock to make it ride flat in the rear bag?

Might be the alignment of the rear bag. as far as I remember the stock had no cast-off.

Shot today using the wedge, it did help with the vertical. But I noticed the best groups when I kept my finger high up on the trigger. If I use the middle or further down the trigger groups open up. Is there a trigger shoe or some other accessory that will allow me to maintain finger position on the trigger??
