Group grand agg competition.

I shot mine about a month ago on the worst day I could of shot. Planned it for 3 days because it was supposed to be a great day. My how we forget what great weather does to Match Day! Rarely is a calm high sky great for match shooting. My best days have been 5-10 mph winds, and overcast, even light rain produces pretty good groups.

Well it was calmer than called for 5 to 7 mph, it was dang near flat. Then coming off a cool night and humid, once I setup and looked thru the 36X B&L, I couldn't find my target. I nearly broke everything down and packed up. But hey, on match day you gotta take what the conditions are given.

So the worst mirage I've shot in all year, and the hotter it got the more humid it got, and the less wind I got. But hey, I had my choice, this was what I picked so most here are safe from me on this one! But, I gotta shot at small group maybe. The little deuce snuck one in, it sure wasn't me.

But hey it's finnaly on its way Scott! Thanks again for supplying the fun! Hope everyone else gets em done!! You put a lot of effort in for us to play, I'd hate to see your efforts go to waste!

Best I got, first thing looked good till got setup and looked thru the scope. 100 yards early was not to bad, by the the third target the wet grass was killing me with the sun heated up and it only got worse from there.

I would have paid for some wind, and by about 1 O'clock it was clear why mirage boards are on all BR match target holders! But we got er done, and when I'm shootin 100 and 200, I'll leave the 222 at home use the 6ppc mirage or not. by about 3pm the last 3 targets the wind finally helped me see the target, but the little 52 grain bullets showed their weakness then. There is a reason we turned to the 6mm when the ppc came along.

But this little Deuce is always a good time and deserves some range time to. This was a great match for the old classic!

Good stuff! May not have been good shooting conditions, but looked nice! Great looking rifles you have there !
 
O K, Why did Bill Not Shoot Yesterday ? Last week-end I had a bout with something unknown (yet) Had some severe pain in the right side of face and running thru the right eye affecting my vision to some extent and into the forehead. (I shoot right handed) Not a continuing pain but often. Have experienced the same for most of the week. I am waiting for my Dr. to get back off of vacation to see him on the 9th. It does seem some better some days but still hanging around. For the guys who already know and have been praying for me I certainly do appreciate it and ask others to pray as well. I am a firm believer in prayer.
