I'll try to get mine finished this week
I have one target left, and I'm still in load development with this rifle
(Trying to figure out which bullet it likes best)
Only got about 100 rounds down the tube so far and part of that is from this Postal

I'm fireforming new brass , hope to get in the next go round.......Lets see I went 8 years shooting 150 Lapua brass with two guns 220 Beggs tight neck finally threw em out . I think I got the mileage out of them ! LOL

Sent mine out yesterday. No threat!!!! I don't shoot .22 and could only find some "vintage" Hornady HPBT Match 52 gr from the '80's. Wiped the green tarnish with solvent and acetone and let'em fly. Worked up to 'bout 30.5 of WW748 but just too windy on the days to get much real data. Time crunch with the holidays so had to send a pity party!!!!

I had 3 22ppc’s. A long time ago. One of my favorite powders was AA2460.
I’ve been following along. Can’t wait to see some agg’s. I haven’t thought much about the 22PPC. In some time. I finally got on the 6MM train and really the only 22 cal I shoot is the .223 and 22/250.

Who is chambering short 22s these days? My last was done by Jim Messer back in the 90s, and he’s likely passed away.

Thanks fellas

Guys. the 220 Beggs. Is an easy way to go. The tight neck version, brass will last a long time! Just a very slight shoulder change. Hornady makes a FL bushing die for it also. Powder capacity same as the 22 PPC short,but no trimming,etc. I'm shooting 25 gr. LT-32 and its been VERY accurate and forgiving on the barrel.

Got mine shot today :rolleyes::rolleyes:
The last shoot I said I hope to climb up a rung or 2. Well that didn’t happen it was BAD!!!
But I got to shoot a beautiful Cooper :)
Will be in the mail tomorrow.
Don't worry, this match was just a practice run to get the bugs out
I'm so used to running 3 shot groups for load development I forgot how hard it was to make all 5 go in the same hole :P
