Due to the braking effect of the sabot as it opens and the .002 of bullet/sabot tension (if using the correct bushing) any fishtailing/lack of sleep in the bullet is diminished, allowing the bullet to come free, concentric to the corriolis effect, and ACCELERATE (as the name implies), carrying much more energy to even 1000 yards. Just be certain that you clean your barrel with a sonic cleaner and walnut media slurry, adding lemishine as needed. You will see your shots better with a FFP scope, and you won't need a 20MOA mount because the added velocity causes the bullet to rise, not drop. Ya, thats the ticket.

One more: I just hacked the cia "black ops" site. I found plans for a new bullet. It has little scoops on the ogive, that feed little channels thru the bullet that exit at the base. When used in fast twist barrels developing 4-500,000 thousand rpms, it acts like a ducted fan motor and does accelerate the bullet to twice normal velocity! I also found out who shot Pres Kennedy!

Didn't you guys read the Stephen Hunter book? It came from the building next to the repository and it...gasp...was a sabot bullet!!!!

Thanks for that insight on bullets going to sleep. That explains my shooting. Couldn't be my reloading ,equipment or me. Took my bullets in to the doctor and he said they have Narcolepsy!Apology accepted.Geez! Even idiots know bullets don't fishtail. They "go to sleep"!
The Coriolis effect on bullet spin is ALL WRONG.... because the earth does not rotate... it spins... because the earth is flat... not round.

You could start at 24 hour...but the sheer number of researchers there may skew the scientific results. I suggest you stay here, cause we are smarter.
Now, in regard to the above mentioned coriolis effect, vortex enhancement, ducted fan technology, I might note that barrel twist is VERY important. I have seen barrels on my friend's, friends', cousin's weapon that had been twisted so much that they had groves on the outside! Wow does that rifle shoot! But even better he has one that he twisted so much that the bolt twisted too, and it shoots better! He told me that by having a fast twist bullet barrel he can shoot bullets loaded in his pre-heated cartridge (I saw him cooking them with a torch) that are so long they call them hydrids. They have have an ovid that makes them slippery, so not only do they shoot faster and and higher, they shoot longer..
