Good for a laugh

I have a Savage Mod 10 LE in .308 I've been thinking about selling. Cruising the ads on Bud's Guns to see what they sold for, I came across this review. Good for a chuckle!

First off, the gun is the best performing long rifle for the money hands down. The first time at the range I was shooting a 150 grain Winchester power points, after 5 rounds I had the gun within the 10 ring with a half dollar grouping. The thing that you need to know is with the 1 in 10 inch twist you really need to go with 168 or 175 grain boat tail cartridge. The 150 grain is a little light so it wants to fish tail coming out of the barrel making your grouping a little large, but now that I have a heavier bullet the gun has a grouping of a quarter at 100 yards. The other thing that might turn you off is the weight, the gun with scope and bipod tips the scale at about 12 pounds, so if your a hunter its not the best.
All and all, i VERY happy with the product and the price from bud's is the best i found any where. Plus with the HS Precision stock you will get some interesting questions about what the gun really is.

All that and I still don't know what to price it at.......

Hey, it's been almost seven years ago. This guy is probably a bit more "refined" now.

LOL..........I didn`t even notice that....

Let`s hope so, although I`d love to hear a different review form him today on ballistics..........;):eek::eek:

He needs one of those old Remington accelerator bullets...you know, the ones that pick up speed after leaving the barrel. Just like when you hammer the throttle on a car, it fishtails, but keep 'er down and things settle out as you go faster! When that sabot drops away, then that bullet really picks up speed! o_O:rolleyes:

I was going to buy some. I thought they had little rocket motors in them? Least that's what I read on the Internet.

Those sabots are designed like a booster rocket, sudden sharp accelerator blast just before it falls away. Let's see, where exactly did I read that, maybe Mr. Rodgers.:p:D:eek:

Ok, Guys: l've gotten a couple PMs about the review. Medic505 even erased the reviewer's name. Thanks, but it WASN'T ME that wrote the review! Do I seem that stupid? Most of the time, I mean? Joshb(The other Joshua B)
Ps I've never owned a Savage in 308.

Hey I can fix you up with one! I apologize to josh if I caused you any grief. I should have deleted the name before I posted it. But, back to the Savage, it will shoot quarter size groups all day long.... if you do your part. HA HA
