garmin head to head with my oehler

I have see comparisons to lab radar and magnospeed, but never an oehler. been real curious for a long time, and finally got the chance today. same results as the others, very very close. shot round robin, after 5 rounds warming the barrel. shot steady about one every 30 seconds.

You could put two Garmins side by side and get similar results. Five fps was the largest difference between the two.

I got one a few weeks ago and as you I like it a lot.
I have an Oehler as well.
Just the set up time between the two is worth the price.

My set up time is even longer. I made 2 pieces of plexiglass with 3d printed inserts that go in the sensors slot. I put a cross hair on both, then aim at the target, put in a laser bore sighter and adjust the sensors so the red dot hits both my inserts cross hair. I have never shot my crono doing this.but it takes a painful long time.
