First Look at the Ingenuity Precision Powder System

Good job Paul, that looks good. A good improvement over the previous. I hope I didn't overstep my bounds telling people about our phone conversation, you mentioning possibly not being done with the final design on the wind shield. When I saw people commenting about it being too much and not well done I figured I would shed some light.

The mere fact that you’re so attentive to the small details gives me confidence that most of the hardships we all experienced in the past with different tricklers will be mitigated, if not eliminated completely.

That’s exactly why this is going to be the new gold standard for dropping powder. Great job Paul!

I predict 2000+ units sold in the first year, and a pile of AT/ST in the junkyard

Or in use by the poor slobs still using matchmasters. Will be an upgrade (kinda?) for them
Oh there will be plenty of folks happy to get the others, especially at a discount. My interest in this is that I see little to no spilled powder during a session and no fiddling with it just to load some rounds. To me that's worth the extra $ on the IP unit and some loss on the previous unit.

For any of you guys who were part of the beta testing, did you get specific disks for the powder you used or did you run with the stock disks regardless of your powder selection? My main powders are N133 and H4198 with some N130, LT-30 and LT-32 sprinkled in. With the exception of N133, none of the powders I listed have been tested by IP to this point.

Can anyone explain what this means and/or take a picture of your IP trickler so I can better understand what it means? Thanks.

Thanks but I still don’t understand the whole wiper loose concept. Why would it need to be loose if the proper disk is selected? Just trying to gain a better understanding.
+1, I don't get what loose means as it appears the wiper is in one of two positions so what's loose? In the video he explains the two positions, but doesn't talk about loose at all. Does it simply mean leave the wiper retainer loose (assuming it tightens).

I only add powders to the list after I have personally tested them and it's been almost impossible for me to have all the powders in the world to test. I know from customers feedback that there are multiple other powders they are using the same disks with for powders not on my list.
Lou Murdica told me he's been using 567 disk for LT-32 just fine. As far as loose for N133, it means just that, loosen the nut that holds it on a little and rotate it in the position for notched disks.I have learned over time that for some troublesome powders it is best to loosen the nut so instead of stopping the disk if it wants to hang up it will just allow the wiper to jump up a little and let it pass. I would just tell everyone to leave the nut off completely all the time, but I don't want you to drop it on the floor when you forget about it while dumping powder out of the cup. You see, I can foresee the future before you even get it. LOL

Great videos.
Now get to work on the sartorius parts :D
I've not owned a dropper that's works with a scale so I'm really ready to get on board with this.

I see the shipping date has move by 30-45 days - totally understandable given the level of perfection and headache prevention going on in the design - Paul - can you give any idea of what you are thinking how long fulfilling the orders (especially those more than 200 out) will take?

I read that also.... I'm not happy about the time frame.
i fought my power dropper for 400 rounds last month .... i was hoping for better news
