Ingenuity Precision production unit overview

No, not particularly. I would note that the us is 9.6M sq km .... it's hard to generalize. In my area, it's rock solid. In areas with a lot of overhead power lines it can be less reliable. But this isn't really about up and down power events, it's about the cleanliness when it's normal. The in-house wiring setup can introduce issues too.
Yes I've watched some interesting videos on YT regarding household wiring in the US and differences around the world. Do the same standards and regulations apply nationally? I know things like strip lights can be an issue, even appliances such as a fridge or microwave can cause issues.

I've looked through the A&D120fxi manual numerous times, and supplemental manual for the Supertrickler V1 and V2 and ATV3/V4...

Nowhere is there a setting for auto-zero.

Can you point this out to us?

This would be a game changer since I have multiple A&D scales and Ingenuity Precision setups for automated reloading.

Also, if you use an aftermarket measuring pan, make sure it is not magnetic. Same for the surface you have the scale on.

And, remove any aftermarket platten covers or draft shields. They tend to pick up static very easily.

Thank you. So, will settings 2-3 allow for a more 'aggressive' auto-zero?

I don't know. I have never screwed with it, and on the default 1 my scale auto-zeros fast enough for the V4.

Just check wat yours is. If it is "0" you know what your problem is.

Has anyone started to receive their system. I put an order in for the first release and nothing but crickets so far. Not even a shipping update.

No. From my inquiry, system will likely start shipping end of the month, beginning of September as a best case scenario.

If you plug a transformer / wall wart, and it runs abnormally hot, it's not a pure sine wave.
That's not entirely true. One can make a pure sine wave, quasi sine wave or square wave inverter run cool. I have done just that in my engineering career.

Many folks would be astounded how hot electrical components can reliably run. Semiconductors rated for 150C or 175C on their junctions; capacitors at 85C or 105C are routine. Depending on the standard, touch temperatures on the outside of a box can be between 50C and 70C. Cooler means heavier and more expensive; both of which can be design drivers. Running excessively hot on the exterior is an indication of poor or cheap design having compromised margins, not necessarily the underlying converter topology.

That's not counter to what I said.

What I said is that if you plug it in to an inverter and it run abnormally hot ... it's not a sine pure sine wave.

I said nothing about it the opposite, and having it run cool.

And, I'm trying to point out rules of thumbs for people who don't have engineering degrees or a scope handy. It's not foolproof ... they're good generalities.

I see your point @rijndael I thought you were saying a wall wart or transformer running hot wasn't a pure sine wave source. Your last post clarifies that. If one plugs in a transformer or other load into an inverter, and the loading device is hot, then the inverter (source) is unlikely to be a pure sine wave device. I agree 100%.

What this means August was not the release date, I don't care when is the release date but it bothers when you are expecting it and doesn't happens, I thought I was in the first orders' August came and gone so I said maybe I wasn't but actually that is not the case
does anyone knows the truth when would it be release?

This will take you right to Paul's update

This is take you right to Paul's update

Paul is right in the linked response posted - every time I email he responds right away.

Latest update is that he is buying a new CNC in order to help speed things along. He said end of November for the very first orders, so my guess is now probably December or even January for the first batch.

Also Primal Rights got a unit sent to him a while ago since he is probably one of the most critical people out there, especially on electronic balance - makes him a good beta tester.
