It seems we are living in an age where there is a "customer be damned attitude".
I won't go into details here but in the last two years I've seen a significant decline in customer service and quality of products that use to be reliable.
take your pics and documentation, and go in person to Kinkos/fedex location. you may get some help.So i bought a barrel off a member here. He shipped it right away. I get a text saying its delivered so i go to my porch to grab it- not there. I look at the app it shows a delivery picture- not my house nor any i recognize. I put in a missing pkg claim, get an email saying they will contact me. Next day i get an email saying case closed, it was delivered and we have a picture. No way to respond with any comments. So i put in another claim. Next day exact same thing. So i guess if they deliver it theres nothing you can do if they have a picture of a random garage. Now im out a barrel and my money.
The nightmares I could tell you, but there isn't enough space, let me hit a few highlights
FedEx hit a fire hydrant, water spraying 100' in the air, caught on camera, in writing denied hitting the hydrant.
Ups hit one of our race cars, caught on camera, written statement claimed he saw FedEx driver hit car
Ups leaves packages to be picked up for delivery in our parking lot, claims there lost
Ups has refused to accept heavy packages (well under there weight limit) because the driver wasn't "up to it"
Signature required packages are just thrown in the parking lot
There is a similar incident being discussed on the Long Range Hunting forum. One of the posts suggested this:
If there is a FedEx express station, tell him to go there and have them pull the gps where it was delivered.
Were they able to get GPS location from a photo?I went to the hub with a recent issue I had with FedEx. The people there really did try to help.
pretty sure those scan guns they use have a GPS function they won't admit too except under extreme duress. we lost some expensive stuff at the plant on a couple occasions and kept up the pressure to the point they finally had to admit they had a driver scanning delivered in a parking lot!!!! this is your second barrel loss in the last couple years???? i would make them produce the GPS coordinates of the delivery as verification and see what they say???So i bought a barrel off a member here. The other one was usps and it was hopeless because it was scanned delivered too. The postmaster wouldnt look at my video that showed my mail lady delivering the mail with no barrel 2hrs before the barrel was scanned. When asked about it she just hollered yes it was a gun barrel just like every other daypretty sure those scan guns they use have a GPS function they won't admit too except under extreme duress. we lost some expensive stuff at the plant on a couple occasions and kept up the pressure to the point they finally had to admit they had a driver scanning delivered in a parking lot!!!! this is your second barrel loss in the last couple years???? i would make them produce the GPS coordinates of the delivery as verification and see what they say???
