Here's my baby, "Plain Jane". Took a $500 birthday check that my Dad gave me, and ordered a great barrel from PacNor. Chambered in 20-222.
I got busted up in a fall, and had four months down time to accumulate the components to add to my old 222 Rem 700 donor action. I couldn't be happier with the out-come. That old Bushnell has been replaced by a Vortex Viper, and this rifle just flat shoots. jd

You're right. There are no groundhogs anywhere near the NC coastline.
I vacation in NE Pennsylvania every year. Just a few miles up the road from Bodines (Williamsport club).
That week of hunting with my son happened to be a personal peak of my life.
And together, we cleared a large farm of 57 GHs!

This one is growing on me. At 18lbs it's still too light. Hollowed out the stock and put as much lead in as i could. For colony varmint shooting off the rotating bench, I prefer a 30lb rifle. This one is a 9 twist 221FB with a brake/tuner, yes that fast twist does a number on them.

With brake and 140 gr. Bullets 3100 FPS,,, recoil like a 22/250.
