Even years ago I remember seeing a gun magazine calculate pistol group size on "best 3 of 5 shots". Hmm, that's convenient.
I like it,,I'm saying I am now a master expert super deluxe shooter that hits the target sometime,,Even years ago I remember seeing a gun magazine calculate pistol group size on "best 3 of 5 shots". Hmm, that's convenient.
That is why I shoot one shot groups, quit while I am ahead. I also shoot 105's out of a 12 Twist 6 Creedmoor. I do this because then my holes look ob-longed giving the look of a stellar multiple-shot group and still shows the greatness of the Creedmoor.
i think ill start shooting these one shot groups i'm reading about here. i will save alot on ammo cost thats for sure.If you dare to shoot the second shot into a group i can 100% assure you from personal experience your group will not get smaller

I had double rifles for several years. It's one way God tries to tell you you think you make too much money.
The best one was a Krieghoff Big Five in .500 Nitro 3". Every shot was 1/2" or a hair bigger.
A nice double rifle is on my bucket list for whatever reason.
at the local public range a guy showed up with a double rifle and a few different brands of (german?) factory ammo. iirc he said it was about $5 a shot, and he was experimenting to find a load that regulated to the same poi. i value individualism, pride of ownership and self expression, but this seems to be in the rarified air of impracticality.you think you make too much money
there we go again with the typos.... it's 338, not 308. haha
yeah, sure.... hahaWow, I never once thought of that

i remember when these guys started publishing in the 90's: https://www.gun-tests.com/I am SHOCKED that the gun mags do not do unbiased accurate reporting - Imagine that.

not sure, but if so $5 a round seems cheap, doesn't it?Was he preparing for a DG hunt?
