F/TR can you use a suppressor

Adding another $1250 to the cost should in consideration also, I know it's not a consideration for most, but the arms race is probably part of it

People should be able to petition to use one with a dr's note

Also, why not just use one and keep your own score and know where you would have finished...

We need more ranges and more shooters to support the sport
My hear aids cost $5,000 That should be consider also. Larry

Larry Batholome. I'm sure I butchered the spelling of Larry's last name and possibly some of the ones I'm about to spell. Paul Cocherham. Brad Sauve. Jeff Cochran. I may have missed someone or gotten one of the names wrong. It's been 12 years :)

We need a more inclusive approach, whenever possible.

Some guys will trick everything out and make it an equipment contest. But the rules should consider the shooters on the bubble of participation, but in the equipment races.

I just went and had my hearing tested last month. My hearing aids are midrange price and the cost is $4500.00 I will be 56 years old next month. I'm not a fan of buying a suppressor but do not care if others where to shoot them in comps that allow them. I do shoot F/Class. Some of my BR rifles have brakes and my next tac barrel will have one. The purpose will be to get back on target quicker.

Well then ANOTHER Class would have to be added since a suppressor does compensate recoil.
Not sure the NRA will go that far.
I have rifles with recoil compensators and rifles that I shoot in F/Class competitions which do not.

That could be a Good thing most shoots don't have enough attendance any way. Great idea Larry

They would just need to allow them in all classes and leave it up to the competitor to use as they see fit. No need for another class. No different than a flash suppressor, sling, etc, as long as weight is included in overall rifle weight.

Many of the rules now can and are excluded in the match program and these get approved by the NRA for registered maches. In no way am I saying THIS rule should be treated like, say, .9.1 though.
