I thought one only found Butt Lights in a proctologist's office?Another hobby, image is as close as I could get to an English ESB, one of my favorites, rest assured it’s not a Bud Light. IMO beer pairs with just about anything.

Maybe FClass can be like PRS and have one string be lefty (for a righty) at each matchWhat’s next maybe a ”Rail gun class” in F Class
Nice setup. That mat looks like it has wings to make it wider. where did you get it?

I say if ya can PAY dont Play. F-Class is a Money Game any way. This is my first real year shooting F-Class and have hear from a credible source that there may some rule changes coming about. The two biggest one that caught my eye were outlawing the BTX dual eye piece spotting scope from Swarovski and the outlawing of Serbs Neo X delrin sides.
The explanation I got was that the BTX eye piece is expensive and not affordable to everyone. It creates a "disadvantage". Has anyone heard about this??
I can understand keeping the playing field somewhat equal in certain classes, but OPEN in my opinion should be "open" and there will never be equality as some people but their hard earned pennies in bullet making, some in March Majesta scopes, and some in 2-3 different back up rifles to shoot team and individuals with. Anyways I'm not trying to stir crap up just wondering if this may be true and I this is common in F Class.
Yup, the guys/gals winning F-TR consistently are outspending everyone else…LOL. Sure, Open equipment costs more than TR but you don’t have to spend a fortune on equipment to win. The winners practice, test, and shoot matches often. An occasional shooter with the best of the best/highest dollar equipment WILL NOT outshoot those who put the time in to perfect their craft.I say if ya can PAY dont Play. F-Class is a Money Game any way.
You can buy a new Perazzi, Kreighoff, Kolar, Silver Seitz. That doesn't mean you can walk out and run 200 singles or 100 from the 27. The gun needs to fit, you still have to point the thing.F-open is just like BR in what it takes to win. You need a good rifle, know how to tune it and keep it in tune, and you have to know how to read the wind. You can only buy the rifle. The rest is on you. All the fancy loading equipment is nice but you can load accurate ammo on the most basic setup. Dont think you need all the gear just because you see it. And dont think anyone has any secrets, they might think they do, but it all come down to putting the work in and figuring out your own setup.
Keith, the upper right photo is definitely at Deep Creek. I think I was standing nearby when it was taken.I can honestly say that I've never seen that photo before. I think it was taken at Deep Creek in Montana.
Since when are electronic levels banned (like the MDT Send-It level)??C'mon man! I would believe almost anything about the rules committee. I mean, they banned electronic levels. [Don't even get me started on the math of that!]
Which brings me to why I started shooting PRS instead of F-class this year...
Y'all do realize that those top coaches could still make winning wind calls looking through a cardboard box with a pinhole at the far end, right? The tension on the waistband of your undies probably negatively impacts your score more than the difference in spotting scopes, but let's not let reality creep into our rulemaking rumors...
The stomach churning nature of such discussions even dissuades me from eating popcorn. I'm going to go dryfire...
I couldn’t agree more. I’m winning and finishing consistently in the top 5 in most F open competitions I’m shootihg, and I load 100% of my girlfriend and my ammo using the ONLY press I’ve ever owned, a Hornady Lock n Load classic single stage press that is at least 15 years old.F-open is just like BR in what it takes to win.
