Ex-spearamentin' With a Fudd Frong Rest Top

So i have this Fudd top that came with the Randolph rest i just recently obtained. I am curious if anyone has tried this felt on their rest and what kind of results did you get?

Now this felt is firm but subtle, so i would hope that the "bounce" factor would be somewhat reduced vs a hard firm felt.

Is that velcro tabs? Should work fine as long as the rifle is heavy enough. I have that setup on one top and it works very well.

Well i am going to try it like this and see how it comes out. I also made the new elevation knob for it today.. but i am far from done with it..

the "cup holder" on the side is for the brass feet

Check,Woodcraft (wood working store) for;woodriver 3" wide,1/32" thick,10' long,adhesive backing......I think they call'm slick strips?It's UHMW.We use it on table saw fence/faces.
