New To Me Rest

How would you affix it to the slick material? Also, through your question, i think that i found the material that Pappas was using for his gasket material on the slides and noodles.[/Could affix the sorbothane to the sides, and stretch slick material over it. Hot glue gun around perimeter. Quick to mock it up and test efficacy

Ok.. for the time being, i am done with it for now.. maybe some more in the future.. But now.. i can speed dial the elevation and windage on it..

I have a question what is the advantage of the round forearm stop vs the randolph style? 1 vs 2 points of contact?

i don't know if there really is an advantage, but i couldn't get it close enough for the top that i am using.. and the round one that i made has more travel in it.. that is the main reason that i switched them out!

But here it is now with the Greenlaw top on it.. i am thinking that i will keep it in the configuration for the time being.. i am not sure if the way i was using the Fudd top was giving me some elevation from rifle hop..

A flat or 2 points of contact leaves you another point that has to be trued up. If the end of your stock isn't " perfect " and the flat or points of contact also aren't "perfect" there will be potential problems. With the round there is a single contact point on a very small surface......No truing " perfection" needed....;)

Another question I have is there a difference to using the orings on the stop or using a stop made of delrin?
