Fudd Windage Top Questions

I've come across a gentleman who is selling his older aluminum Bald Eagle rest with a Fudd Windage Top. From what I've read, the Fudd's are adjustable to any forend width, but I'm not certain of that.

From the pictures I've seen, it appears to use a pad of some sort on the bottom and both sides. Are those easy to replace? I ask in case these are worn and need to be replaced.

Are there any known issues that would warrant staying away from buying it?

Also, I believe the top will interchange with other rests in case I don't like the rest he has. Is this correct?

Is $150 shipped a fair price, considering the rest and top are in good condition?

I have used a Fudd top with older Wichita base for years and really like it. I shoot in factory varmint matches with guns that have various width forearms and the adjustable top works great for this. I have had mine for maybe 10 years and the only issue I've had with it was one of the pads came off - I just super glued in back in place and no more problems ( : I believe $150 is a very good price.
