The tool I have measures bullet base to ogive, bearing surface, and loaded round base to ogive. I personally only use it to measure loaded round base to ogive at the moment, but I will do testing to see if bearing surface has influence in accuracy at 1,000 yards. I still believe bullet base to ogive sorting does not matter, but I will test as well.
