My surgery is Next Friday. I should have put that date.Well it's now SAT. morning. I just love these posts, then they don't come back and say anything, and don't come back and tell me he's distracted by the pain or anything, I've had ten times the work on both legs in the last 15 years, going thru it right now, hell he hasn't even had the ulcers yet, I've had two open for more then a year now, fighting the INS.CO that it medically necessary.
My Apology's, come back on Saturday AM, and let us know how your doing the first time I had mine worked on it was every other week for almost a year(cadillac medical plan) I've had the lasers and the acid, working on my right leg now, trick is to find a vein guy that knows what he's doing. don't shy away from a second opinion. My surgery is Next Friday. I should have put that date.
the results are almost immediate, the thing is after a few years the valves fail again and then your back, they destroy the bad veins and then body grows new ones. and then they fail.I have been dealing with venous issues for many years and for the same reasons. I never had a job where I wasn't on my feet all day. I'll be anxiously awaiting your results. WH
Heck, at my age, I only have “a few years” anyway, so anything that helps me keep functioning is welcome.the results are almost immediate, the thing is after a few years the valves fail again and then your back, they destroy the bad veins and then body grows new ones. and then they fail.
A lot of it is probably hereditary. My Dad had the same problem at an earlier age. But he passed away at 61. I am now close to 15 years older than my Dad when he passed.Wishing and praying you well, Jackie.
I'm 68. Is there anything one can do to possibly avoid or delay onset of this ailment?
