Electronic Scales

Tuned beam scales are good but the times have passed you by. Nothing wrong with doing it the old fashioned way (I've got a tuned beam scale) but they can't hang with the Fx120i the Creedmoor the Sartorius or any of the precision electronic scales of today in terms of accuracy and speed.

It depends on what you are loading for and volume, my scales cost less then all those you mentioned and don't slow me down.
My last BR competition I used my powder measure which didn't slow me down and others used their Chargemasters, Autotrickler, Chargemasterlite and I certainly didn't feel disadvantaged and certainly hung with the others, so I beg to differ times haven't passed me by I just know how to use what I've got.

I have a set of Ohaus 10-10 that have been tuned by Scott Parker, they don't exhibit the same traits as your RCBS 10-10's The Ohaus are more reliable and consistent than most digital scales.
.
I agree with Rick, my philosophy is also to K.I.S.S and I still use a powder thrower for a lot of my powders and trickle
Ohaus made the 1010 scale for RCBS, it was also discontinued, when Ohaus quit making it. Same scale, different paint.

I thought so, but there is a difference between the RCBS and Ohaus 1010, the Ohaus has 10th grain readings on the frame while the RCBS only has the 0 mark on the frame.
This is why I bought the Ohaus

Ohaus also make the Lyman M5, RCBS 5-10 and RCBS 505

I’ve gone to an Electric, I wear bifocal glasses and when I focus on the beam scale it puts my neck into a painful position I just can’t handle for extended sessions. Perhaps a web cam or auto trickler would help, idk.
Which scale/balance is faster, or better or need to resolve to a split kernel is debatable, the facts are that none mentioned here will hold a guy back from shooting small groups.

DILLON DETERMINATOR, you can find them used or they are not bad new, since you calibrate them with a know weight, I have found them to be extremely accurate, I bought mine used, without a power adaptor, I called Dillon to buy a new adaptor and they sent me one for free. got the OHAUS calibration weights on EBAY.
