If anyone is looking for an electronic powder dispenser try the new Hornady. It works great and it is alot cheaper than the RCBS. It is just as fast, and mine is just as accurate as my RCBS scale. I loaded 50 rds and checked each against my RCBS scale. Look at Midsouth Shooters they have them for $218 everyone else has them for around $240. Yes they are made in China but so is the RCBS.

I'll stick with my PACT Scales and Dispensers, made in the USA.
The speed setting really governs when it begins to trickle on slow it starts 1 1/5 gn short of target weight and fast starts 1/2 gn. The actual speed depends more on what type of powder you are throwing. I tried 42.7gr imr 4350 on slow speed an it was running around 9-10 sec per charge, with 44gr of RL15 i had it on high speed and it was taking right at 8 seconds but with 46 gr BLC2 it was taking 6-8 sec on slow. So alot of it depends on the powder itself it is alittle faster than my dads older RCBS. I haven't used Pacts Dispenser but their scales are great and american made.
If your dads old RCBS has the IR port it's really a PACT, you can send them back and have the upgrade done to speed it up if you need. I find that by the time I push dispense, trickle to the 1/100 on the Denver, dump it in a shell, the old or new PACT is sitting there waiting on me anyway.
I agree they are all good some just have qurks. I was just letting everyone know there is another out there and that Midsouth hadnthe best price. As for my dads it has the IR i didn't know they were pacts. I will check on the upgrade for him. I will say another thing on the hornady it doesn't like IMR4350 second set of loads i did with it had a larger time difference anywhere from 10-25 seconds it was accurate though.
