I had a blast, literally. I just might be time to work up some new loads, these I loaded six years ago for an egg shoot(won it). I'm looking forward to another go round. I have cute little 6x45 and another 222 factory rifle that shoots well.

As far as BR vs Varmint. IMO Short range BR, single shot and higher power fixed scope, Varmint, bolt action with magazine and lower power hunting style scope. That's how I would classify my rifle. There might be some single shot varmint rigs and somebody using a fixed 36x for ground squirrels but I guess we would have to take your word on what the primary use of the rifle would be. I'm sure there are some old BR rifles out there harassing PDs and GSs.

The designation was factory vs custom. I would hope it would be factory sporter next go round, this IS NOT a criticism , just my thought.

I like being in Varmint class because if I'm in varmint class next year I will out shoot all of you all class !! LOL LOL My old Savage 112 has shot lots of groups in the high 1's and low 2's so I can't wait , LOL LOL Just hope I'm not down with the back next spring again . LOL LOL all ready working on next years excuses !! LOL LOL

I just want to add my thanks to Scott, I’ve been on the road for work and arrived home to find a participation gift and report in the mail from Scott. I know he has a lot of time and $ wrapped up in hosting this and I hope he knows how much we all appreciated his efforts.
