Wow , I mean it’s ok but the way some are talking it’s the second coming . I mean it is if you’re talking the second coming of IMR-4064 . I use it in 5.56/223 & 308 Win . I like it and it does work but I have just as good loads if not better ( at this point ) using IMR-4895/4064 , N-540 to name a few .

It’s good but don’t think if you start using it you’re going to win all the tournaments . It’s only as good as your gun , you and your ability to load and read loads .

If we are comparing it to older GMM , it’s not that good at all IMNSHO haha

AR Comp is good. But I've not yet identified it as superior to many other powders in accuracy. Just much-better-than-most temp stability.

I've found 8208 to be more accurate so far, but I've only burned a 1.5# of AR Comp and am not saying the jury's in yet. I really like AR Comp.

I was wondering why there hasn't been discussion about 8208, i.e., is it not held in good regard? For me, I'm interested in 75/77/80 grain 223 loads.

Ha , funny you say that . I just bought 4lbs of 8208 & 2lbs of AR-Comp along with 16lbs of H-335 . Cha-ching !

FWIW both Powder Valley & Natchezs have/had AR-comp as of Sat night

I was just looking at my reloading logs and found that I actually have some really good loads with 8208xbr from 6 years ago . It must have been hard to find when I ran out or something cus I never bought more . I just started using AR-comp early last year .
