I worked on some stocks this weekend.
The Left one will be in a Raffle here soon via a friend Doug Day via Boltgunners on Instagram and his website
Middle is a new piece I just started shapping and wanted to see the figure and color
the one on the right I have been working of for a while and will be my 223 wylde build

Thanks. I just keep asking “Why?”
Well, on this one, the member sent me some pictures to illustrate what he wanted. It had a cheekpiece that could be raised but the cut went right thru the cheek “pad”. I thought. Hmmm.....why?What do you mean Why?

It would be nicer if it was all one piece, right? It just took a little fiddling to figure out how.

That looks nice, Cstuck! I like the stippling. Question: Do you reinforce the wrist on any of your stocks! Anytime I get a certain grain pattern running thru my wrist, I drill a hole and epoxy a piece of 3/8 threaded rod into it. Sometimes up from the bottom, sometimes down thru the top. Just a thought.
Josh, did you reinforce the cheekpiece where it is thin?
A wood dowel through the grip makes a good reinforcement also.
