Dasher Brass question

I know I have heard of this issue coming up before but for the life of me I can not find the threads with searches. Here is what is happening
My wife and I have been shooting 6mm dashers with Lapua brass for many years and never have had extraction issues. As of late (new barrel for both of us) we have the faint click at the very top of the bolt lift. Sometimes it comes out easily and sometimes a small amount of force on the bolt handle is required to get the case out.
Here are the specifics of the rifles and loads

Barnard Action 30" Brux 1:8 twist
Lapua brass fully fireformed most are 3x and 4x firings
32.2 gn Varget (absolutely no pressure signs
CCI 450 primers
brass is FL sized and annealed every firing
Redding bushing Dies
Berger 105 Hybrids.

I have measured this brass every which way and it is not too long, headspace is correct and it chambers very easily. Does anyone know what is going on. should I send the fired brass that has the problem out to Harrells for a better fitting die? Since it chamber easily would the die even have any effect on extraction? Could the bases be growing with only 3 or 4 firings?

Any help would be appreciated.

You're not sizing the brass enough down toward the bottom of the case...that is what causes the bolt click.

OK, so does someone make a small base die for the dasher or do you just get a custom die to fit your brass?

If your primer pockets are staying tight the case head isn't expanding. If that isn't happing I would look hard at a carbon ring problem. Varget is known to have that problem. Larry

Hum, they are slightly loose, more so than 3 or 4 firings would indicate but it still takes some pressure to seat. I do have a bore scope so I can certainly check on the carbon ring as well

Get a body die, from Whidden, problem solved.

Run the brass through a 308 die minus the decapping stem, or a 260, 7/08, 30/06, 243 or any other sizing die with the same base diameter.

Who do you recommend for a die that will fit my chamber? Who do you use? Do you send in fired brass and have them custom made?

Send 3 fired pieces of brass (not resized) to Harrells. They will send you a die that will properly size your brass in 7-10 days.

A die that resizes the base/web to clearance, will fix the problem all together, that will improve brass memory (spring), which compliments/extends brass and primer pocket life.

A die that is not supporting and sizing the cases enough is hurting the equation by excessively expansion at the web (when pushing the shoulder down), that in some ways is hurrying the brass at the web as much or more then firing them does.

I myself, do not cheap out or take dies for granted. To much left on the table, and the foundation to good accuracy from ammo starts with the brass and its match up to the chamber. Dies that are a true match of the chamber to all aspects, make the best foundation - IME

Thanks everyone for your help. I have decided to send some of my fired brass to Jim @ JLC Precision as well as my Redding FL type S die and have him look at and fix the issue. He agrees with most on here that the base/web area is not getting properly sized. He can do the die alteration in just a couple of weeks so off it goes tomorrow. I forgot to mention that I checked the barrel last night and there was no carbon ring so it must be the sizing issue.
