Cz 600+ range or tikka super varmint

Which way to go for steel plinker ?? Cz or tikka? Not interested in others thanks.

CZ makes a great rifle but Tikka is better.

There's no comparison. The CZ 600 is pleged with accuracy problems. The Tikka is an outstanding rifle, glass smooth action, clover leaf right out of the box.
CZ in my opinion, really screwed up when they discontinued the 527

I have had several tikka rifles, still have a couple but the Cz range model is interesting with the .75 moa guarantee and laminate stock.

I like CZ firearms, most of them anyways but if I was choosing between those two rifles I’d go Tikka. I had one of the new super varmints in 6.5 PRC, it was a five shot sub .5 Moa rifle. I’ve played around with a lot of Tikkas, mine and those of family and friends, none were a dude and some were exceptional. Those Super varmints are nice rifles, I have another friend who has one and has been very pleased.

I bought a CZ Alpha 600 and it would not group well at all. After checking all the normal things I sent it back to CZ. They were great to deal with as far as sending me a prepaid label etc. They responded quickly that the gun was defective and they would replace either the barrel or provide a new rifle…whichever they got first. Estimated time was 4 weeks and they were to send weekly updates. It has now been almost 12 weeks, no response from them, no answer to multiple emails, and no updates when I’ve gotten them on the phone. I’ve requested a refund but doubt that will happen. I’ve heard...

Here is my experience with CZ 600…complete disaster. I’d buy the Tikka.

It’s not a full on bull barrel, a bit lighter than that.

That’s pretty nice for a factory set up then.

I could be wrong. I have not even picked up the new green stocked versions so it’s been awhile
