Tikka Rifles

Does anyone out there own either a "Tikka Varmint" OR a "Tikka Super Varmint"?

If so, then what are your thoughts?

I am thinking about getting one in 6.5x55 Swede for a bit of long range shooting.

I've got a T3 Varmint in 223 and while it functions well it still has several traits I'm not crazy about. First is the integral magazine box that is part of the stock as well as the trigger guard. I admit that I'm the first to pull the stock on rifles like this and upgrade but not without going out and having to buy a trigger guard and a mag box it seems. Second is the length of the action on their short action chamberings, nothing beats having a 223 with a long action with a 1' spacer block. Last the molded in mag box will not allow me to load much longer than saami COL spec and this is with a rifle with a factory 1-8 twist. You ever see a 80gr Berger loaded at 2.260? I bought a 1-8 twist, Finn built Varmint rifle and will be regulated to shooting 55-60gr non-polymer tipped bullets so I don't have to jump .250 to the lands. The action is smooth, and the Finns make great plastic parts, especially that big honkin 223 magazine. Regardless I know it's not fair to compare it to my Sako's cause it's not a Sako but the last time I looked the T3 Varmints were pushing 700.00. That's a lot of money for a lot of plastic.
