Concessions youre making due to primer availability

No sighters at any matches.
I was told once that sighters are only for women or wieners, so I'll just change the spelling of my first name and make sure to bring buns to all the matches I shoot this year

I was using a lot of BR4's, even for practice loads, in my 223. I tried some Federal 205's and my SD's actually improved a little. I have a year's worth of them so I am hoping I can make it through until then.

Noticing multiple shooters NOT able to come practice and some NOT coming to matches. Talked with two today. No components, no shoot.

Others saying they are to suffer for not stocking up in advance. But now those that do show have fewer shooters to shoot with or against. Without primers things grind to a halt for some quite fast.

This is past being worth a joke.

Going to be business as usual for me. In fact I'm going to shoot a lot more this year than the previous 2. I stocked up on enough stuff years ago to get me thru till I'm on the wrong side of the dirt and then some. I bought 3 used rifles last May, 2 short range score and 1 600 yard rifle 2 were built by the late great Sid Goodling the other by Bob Green. I bought 4 used SR score rifle in October from the late great Dave Thomas's widow all build by Sid. Bob Green chambered me 13 new Barrels. Joe Cowan chambered me 3. I just ordered a new Bat Neuvo action two weeks ago and It's going to Dwight Scott's shop. Ordered and paid for a new Bob Scarborough stock so I'm on his stock build list. My screwed up March scope is fixed and on it's way back to me by a slow boat from Japan at no cost for fixing it. I got a cherry set of Niemi carbide dies last year and will be shooting my own pills this year. Life is good.

May have to create a Flint lock bench rest league !!!!! Flint
can be picked up off the ground for free. Powder can be made
at home, and cast bullets are fairly easy to do. I'm sure Brux
can turn me up a 40 inch long, 30 twister in 50 cal. ?? LOL

Fishing, golf, camping, etc....

Theres plenty of other things to experience. Especially when it can mean spending more time with family and friends that don’t or can’t shoot.

I’ve spent the last 10-12 years absolutely dedicated to shooting and competing. It’s been really really nice stepping away and doing some other fun things I used to enjoy very much. As an added bonus, many of those activities cost much less money.

I used to form 200 pc of brass at a time for a new barrel with an old barrel.

Now I'm doing load development in virgin brass in my brand new shiny barrel.

I hear those minié balls are so much better than round balls, it’s almost like cheating
