600 yard BR Stock rules?

All,
Would like to build a solid, timeless platform for 600 yard (LG/17lb) bench rest. Plan to use a Borden BRM, possibly one of the new bottom eject models. I have a JJ Loh rest for now.
I have access to a monthly match within an hours drive, but have missed all this spring due to rain or travel. I have no experience whatsoever with this discipline... and would prefer to "do it right, once."
Is there a one-stop shop for stock dimension rules across the various bench rest disciplines?
I'm completely new, so it would be nice to know what if any future concessions I'm making based on profile, etc.

Looking through the archives, I see countless records and national championships won with the ST1000. I like the clean/simple lines and the knowledge that others have achieved good balance with heavier actions and HV (even straight) profile barrels vice trying to make my current PPC configured TMBR work with a longer barrel. However, recent comments are less than stellar regarding ST1000 production quality when it comes to "straightness."

I'm reading good things about the Kelbly 1M and the PRT BR lowboy. The McMillan Edge LV/HV looks impressive as well, but I've read of balance concerns, even after adding heavy metal to the stock. Looks like X-ring is also offering a new BR stock. I'm very impressed by the Leonard and Hunter carbon fiber long range stocks. I don't mind spending the money, but I'm not sure that I'm willing to wait a year to get up and running.

Big fan of this site. If I've missed a comprehensive review/breakdown of stocks for this discipline, my apologies for the redundant post.

Any/all input welcome.
Thanks,
Luke
