But wait....wait!! I'd like to ask this question:

What about the near 50 MILLION innocents we've aborted??? For a nation and a world so upset about this shooting tragedy of little innocents.....aren't these 50 MILLION kids that were slaughtered a tragedy and innocents also?? Or are they just something that can be put out of mind because we never saw them....as the cute little boys and girls that could have been were not a pair of surgical scissors driven into the base of some their skulls as done in partial birth abortions???

We're a nation of FRIGGIN NUTS.....no question about it! Millions of $$$$ are taken up for the care of dogs and cats and in a helluva lot of instances we take better care of four legged animals than we do our children!! I'm never amazed at the degree of stupidity that exists in this country!! :-[ :-\ ::)

YES

+1 bro...

Well said...

There are larger forces at work to create mass hardcore mind control on this level... Hard core evil. Do you realize what kind of hard core mind control it takes to convince young women to KILL THEIR OWN BABIES??? I mean if you don't believe you are being hypnotized to do evil and wicked things, there is that one simple example....

LET THAT SINK IN BROTHERS!!!!

We as a nation have convinced ourselves that we need to invade the entire Middle East, Africa, Asia??? In the name of fighting terrorist groups we created??? What's next???

Send our children to die and get blown to pieces for what???? Oil corporations and neo con lunatics??? That's who.... WAR IS BIG BUSINESS!!! It's for profit...

Wake up. I beg you.

Yea brother... another nail hit on the head. Whats said above me is nothing but trith and facts.

Thanks Larry, well spoken and very true. When it comes down to it, our children are our responsibility..not the schools, yet we have handed over our children to the schools so much that now the schools are the parents, and tell us how we should raise our children to be non-competitive, non-religious, that working hard is not good for everyone because it makes the lazy feel bad. That black and white, right and wrong is just a large gray area that is open to interpretations, that striving to to the best is wrong because it makes the worst feel bad, and that's bulling them. What this evil person did at that school is just that...evil. And we have opened the door wide to let it in because we are not allowed to call evil by it's name. There is a God, there is evil and there is justice, and justice should be swift and VERY public. Children, people have to learn there is a right and a wrong...you strive to do what's right with everything in you and you punish the wrong with total severity maximum allowed by the law. That shooter did not obey any of the laws on the books, more laws will not help those victims, more justice will prevent victims in the future. There is a right, and there is a wrong and there is very little gray area in the middle...live it and enforce it.

Got this from my friend, Scott Parks.

It's so strange to live in a world where someone commits an atrocity, and society blames his methods instead of dealing with his intent. It's the same mentality that believes society can tax its way into prosperity without dealing with the root issue of government waste, inefficiency and fraud. The same mentality that wants to punish junk food instead of acknowledging that food-based obesity is quite often the result of individual choices. It seems like we once took the issue of "personal responsibility" seriously. Now, we're a knee-jerk society of finger-pointers desperate for scapegoats, each one trussing up his/her soapbox under the thin veil of compassion. We swat at the symptoms forever as the virus itself remains unexamined and unchecked. I remember the scapegoats of my own youth...video games and rock music...the obvious "reasons" for society's ills. (Anyone see those old videos where they destroyed thousands of pinball machines?)You'd like to make firearms illegal for the law-abiding? Congratulations. You'll have disarmed tens of millions of responsible citizens, and the black-market will tip its hat to you as the non-law-abiding operate without missing a step. Oh. You'd like home-to-home searches to ensure that all weapons are confiscated? That sounds like a wonderful way for a free nation, by the people and for the people, to operate. Perhaps we can take a few extra minutes and enjoy tea with the ATF agents as they tap on the sheet rook looking for hidden stockpiles. On this issue, I like the words of Thomas Jefferson, "Laws that forbid the carrying of arms disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."The utopia of a world free of guns and gun violence is a noble enough notion. It's also a happy-clappy, Utopian fantasy that will never, ever happen. Perhaps it's time to see through the haze of peace pipe smoke and realize that 1) you'll never get 250 million weapons confiscated 2) even if you get the licensed weapons from the law-abiding, guns will continue to be the domain of the criminal and 3) even without guns, you'll still (and always) have all manner of killers, rogues, psychopaths and instruments of horrible death. These things are not new to humanity, and it's a hard fact of life that society's most unstable can and will snap at any moment. And as I understand the desire of good people to find solutions, I'm convinced those solutions should deal with root issues and be based in reality. There are over 300 million people living in the USA. Almost half of all American homes have firearms in them. With that many firearms in that many hands, if they were indeed the cause of all of this trouble, this nation would have, within moments, shredded itself under a blanket of gun smoke. This obviously hasn't happened, and those who can't see the millions of peace-loving (yes, peace-loving), responsible gun owners as more than caricature are obviously not looking (or not seeing, anyway). They want a kum-bah-yah planet where good intentions trump all, a world without aggressors and those who defend against them, a world where a politician's signature on a piece of paper will cure all hearts of darkness, a world where ribbons on our lapels actually solve planet-wide problems, a world where humanity can go to sleep at night with unlocked doors and unconcerned minds. A beautiful fantasy. And a ridiculous one. We can and should find ways to make our world safer...but it will never be safe. I own a Smith & Wesson MP9. I've been trained to use it and often target-shoot for recreation. I keep the weapon secured. It is treated with a healthy respect and is readily accessible for reasons of home defense. Some are skittish about the use of deadly force to protect loved ones. I am not. This doesn't make me a warmonger or nut, a conspiracy theorist or agent of blood lust. It makes me a free, law-abiding citizen who happens to take the first line of responsibility for the protection of his family.Individual responsibility. Within the law. It's how I roll. There are millions like me. Ask yourself...are we really the problem? And will disarming us prevent the next tragic headline? Absolutely not.

Truly on the mark.
But i can remember a time about 50 years when we did not lock our doors.
And my friend would bring his shot gun on the bus, to school,
give to the princeable till the end of the day and take it home to my house for some squirrel hunting over the week end.
What the hell happened?

Jim See's post explains a lot

School shooting-NOT political-Good read

Twas' 11 days before Christmas, around 9:38
when 20 beautiful children stormed through heaven's gate.
Their smiles were contagious, their laughter filled the air.
They could hardly believe all the beauty they saw there.
They were filled with such joy, they didn't know what to say.
They remembered nothing of what had happened earlier that day.
"Where are we?" asked a little girl, as quiet as a mouse.
"This is heaven." declared a small boy. "we're spending Christmas at God's house."
When what to their wondering eyes did appear,
but Jesus, their savior, the children gathered near.
He looked at them and smiled, and they smiled just the same.
Then He opened His arms and He called them by name.
And in that moment was joy, that only heaven can bring
Those children all flew into the arms of their King
and as they lingered in the warmth of His embrace,
one small girl turned and looked at Jesus' face.
And as if He could read all the questions she had,
He gently whispered to her, "I'll take care of mom and dad."
Then He looked down on earth, the world far below
He saw all of the hurt, the sorrow, and woe...
then He closed His eyes and He outstretched His hand,
"Let My power and presence re-enter this land!"
"may this country be delivered from the hands of fools"
"I'm taking back my nation. I'm taking back my schools!"
then He and the children stood up without a sound.
"Come now my children, let me show you around."
excitement filled the space, some skipped and some ran.
All displaying enthusiasm that only a small child can.
and i heard Him proclaim as He walked out of sight,
"in the midst of this darkness, I AM STILL THE LIGHT."

The real question is why Americans get all weepy over white kids from Connecticut getting killed but couldn't give a crap that we are sending our children to die and maimed and mentally scarred every day in the middle east for very dubious reasons...

Not to mention we kill children in mass with our military every month... No one cares...

We as a nation have become such unbelievable brain dead moral hypocrites....

I'm at an absolute loss to describe my feelings for the victims and their families. I'm an old man and have heard of many bad things in my lifetime, but this is perhaps the worst. I do think now is a time for prayers and grieving. We need to extend all the prayers and help that we possibly can. We all know that guns are not at the core of these types of tragedies. Let's fight that battle a little later. Lord help those families and although while on this earth, we cannot know your plan, I believe with all my heart that you have a master plan.
Im guessn Im half your age and I hope this is the worse thing I hear the rest of my life >:( >:( >:( >:(

Americans don't feel any pain unless that stupid hyptno box tells them too...

Just came back from the local Gun Shop (had a 6 PPC delivered), there were at LEAST 25-30 buyers in the small shop, ALL with an AR waiting for the Fed Check to get processed. The owners wife said the phone process was a 45 min wait, the on line was dropping out mid check. In conversation, the owner said he has sold in excess of 165 AR's in the last couple days (he only had 5 or 6 left of his entire inventory. His 223/5.56 ammo was limited to 100 rds per purchase and 2 mags (other than what came with the rifle ). He had several calls from people asking to SAVE an AR for them, his responce was Full credit card charge (and must be picked up in 48 hrs or back on the shelf). He also said that even the Clinton Ban did not generate this kind of responce. BTW his prices were the SAME as they were a couple months ago.

The wait now is up to 75 mins, my dealer has been tryig to find any M-16's, there are none to be bought from any wholesaler, some of which he has been dealing with for 25 years, even the price of lowers is going up very fast.

The X-Man

He said he had 2 confirmed shipments coming in, 1 next week for his sons shop in Ia. and 1 1st week of Jan for his shop. He did not elaborate on how many, what brand/type or whether the price would change from the distributor.

Please, please please, X-Man! Here's where some of the problem lies, the M16 and AR15 might look the same but they are not! The M16 is a AUTO weapon,,,,, the AR15 is SEMI-Auto,,,,, big difference. The media and antis use this "looks the same" to influence the uneducated.
